Worcester, MA- In their third meet of the season the Worcester State Men’s Cross Country team heads to UMass-Dartmouth for their annual invite. The Lancers were led by Ryan Wing who placed 144 in the Men’s Gold 8k Run at UMass-Dartmouth. The race on the day was split into two races with Liam Dietz claiming the top spot for Worcester in 96th in the Men’s Navy 8k Race.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Cross Country team was back on the course this morning at Gordon College to compete in the Pop Crowell Invite. The Lancers were led by first year Ryan Wing (Barre, MA) who finished in 16th place helping to contribute to the team score of 177 for Worcester in the 8000m race.
Worcester, MA – The Worcester State men’s cross country team opened its season with a short trip north to Fitchburg State for the annual Jim Sheehan Invite. The Lancers were led by first-year Ryan Wing (Barre, MA), who placed seventh overall and sixth in team scoring in the tri-meet against Fitchburg State and Curry.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Cross-Country team has claimed sixth in the MASCAC Preseason Poll as voted on by the conference coaches. Worcester State finished last season finishing fifth in the conference standings at the MASCAC Championship. The lancers hit the course this weekend as they begin their training to take home the championship this season.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s and Women’s Cross Country team, led by Head Coach Scott VanderMolen, who enters his third season at the helm of the Worcester State Cross Country and Track and Field programs. The Lancers took home 5th in the Men’s MASCAC Championship and 4th in the Women, last season and look to continue their climb up the conference standing this year. Worcester will be led by seniors Alex Matasuyasu, Andrew Stokes, Leah Berg, Kelsey Gendreau, Jillian McMenemy, Claudia Symonick and Bridget O’Malley alongside fresh and returning speed on the course in the Lancers hunt for a MASCAC Championship.
Westfield, MA — A total of 1,610 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall/Winter 2024 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.
