Fisher Named MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week for Third Time

Worcester, MA- After remaining undefeated in conference action on the week the Lancers senior Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) was named the MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.

Fisher Recorded nine ground balls, 20 draw controls and three goals and two assists for five points in a 2-0 week for the Lancers. Had 13 draws, five ground balls, three goals and an assist in the 14-10 win over Framingham State. Added four ground balls and seven draws in the 16-8 win over Mass. Maritime.

Worcester State is back in action tonight as they head to Westfield State for 7pm in a crucial conference matchup.
