Worcester, MA- With the final week of the regular season upon the Worcester State Women’s Basketball team (9-14, 6-6), the Lancers are looking to hold their ground and seeding in the final two regular season meetings of the season. Tonight’s matchup had the Lancers journey just up the road to Paxton, MA, to take on the Anna Maria AMCATs in their third meeting, but only the second conference collision of the season.

Worcester, MA- In a crucial matchup on Saturday afternoon the Worcester State Women’s Basketball team (9-13, 6-5) hosted Salem State in their annual Alumni game celebration game. Prior to the game the team honored graduate Kate Hurynowicz, class of 2025, for her 1,000th career points honors. Worcester, MA- In what has grown into one of the most beloved and buzz-worthy traditions on the Worcester State Athletics calendar, the Worcester State Women’s Basketball team (4-8, 1-1) brought the excitement back to Brissette Court by hosting its 16th Annual Math Madness Game on Monday afternoon. The Lancers welcomed back a familiar foe in Emerson College for the second straight season, turning the matchup into another high-energy celebration of hoops and learning. Nearly 500 students from Tatnuck, Dual Language, and May Street Schools packed the stands, transforming the arena into a lively classroom where numbers met net, and every cheer made students feel like they were part of the action—true to the spirit of the Division III experience.

Worcester, MA- With the calendar turned to 2026, the Worcester State Women’s Basketball team (3-7, 0-0) opened up their conference play with a mid day meeting with the MCLA Trailblazers. The game was played in support of Thea’s Pantry at Worcester State which provides food and other essentials to students, staff, and faculty who are food insecure or at risk of food insecurity. Located in the Student Center, Thea’s Pantry provides confidential services for those in need.

Last year Worcester opened up the tournament versus the Engineers and are looking to repeat the meeting but with a slightly different outcome this year.
