The 2023 season for the Lancers ended shy of where the team hoped to finish this season, with a second-round playoff exit. Despite that, there were numerous accomplishments by the team and players throughout the year that made this one of the most remarkable seasons for the program.
Worcester, Mass. – Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse wrapped up their season this evening as they squared up against Westfield State in the MASCAC Women’s Lacrosse semifinal. Graduate Student Clare Conway (Billerica, MA) and first year Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) led the offensive attack for the Lancers as they battled in a rematch battle just over two weeks old. Worcester State’s season comes to a close with a 10-8 record.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Lancers (7-7, 3-1) travel north of Boston to take on the Salem State Vikings (4-9, 1-3) for a MASCAC matchup. With two games remaining in the season after today, the Lancers will try to stay at the top of the conference standings.
Worcester, MA- After coming off a routing victory against Emmanuel where they won 14-6, Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team (4-5) faced Wellesley College (2-7) in an away game at Wellesley field.

Worcester, MA - The Lancers (2-3) returned to action Friday evening at John F. Coughlin field for a non-conference game to take on the Southern Maine Huskies (2-5) in a game played in support of the One Love Foundation which focuses on creating a world of healthier relationships. Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team had their first action of Spring Break when they took on Colby-Sawyer at Hilton Head in the first of their two game set. The Lancers were looking to grab their first win of the season in a local showdown down south.
Worcester, MA- The Lancers’ Women’s Lacrosse team took to John F. Caughlin Memorial Field tonight for their first home game of the young season, hosting the Bates College Bobcats. It would come on a cold early March evening, when the Lancers opened up their home slate of games. Worcester battled it back and forth with the Bobcats before ultimately falling 16-8.
Worcester, MA- On Wednesday evening, the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team opened their 2023 season, taking on Smith College in a competitive non-conference battle. The Lancers were defeated by the Pioneers 15-7 in a tightly contested battle.
