Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s and Women’s Track and Field team was back in action this weekend as they competed at the Coast Guard Academy for the New England DIII Championships. Those who qualified participated in an action packed two days of events.
Worcester, MA- In the final meet before the MASCAC Championship, the Lancers Track and Field team journeyed to Eastern Connecticut to compete at the Bonnie Edmondson Classic. Worcester State was set to mark their final attempts for qualifying times into the MASCAC Championships at Bridgewater State next week with their finishes today. They were led by the top performance of senior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA) and first year Michael Mireku (Worcester, MA) who finished in first in the 100m and triple jump respectively.
Worcester, MA- In a prep meet that would provide the Track and Field team their first in depth look at their MASCAC Championship site in two weeks, the Worcester State Men’s Track and Field team was ready to set their marks and put the conference on watch. The Lancers were led by sophomore Garrett Papierski (Webster, MA) who led the day with two top finishes in the shot put and the discus.
Worcester, MA- On a windy Friday, the Worcester State Men’s Track and Field team went full force at the Regis Classic as they looked to continue their success from last week’s meet at UMass-Dartmouth. The Lancers were led by the top marks of senior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA) who claimed first, second and fifth in the Long Jump, 200m and 100m while helping to lead Worcester to a team 70 points and third at the meet.
Worcester, MA- In the first meet of the outdoor season the Worcester Track and Field team journey to UMass-Dartmouth to compete in the Corsairs invitational. The Lancers were led by senior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA) who grabbed the 2nd spot in long jump as Worcester State recorded 27 points with the day's events.
Worcester, MA- In a split meet day for the Lancers, the Men’s Track and Field team competed in two different locations on Friday night with senior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA) getting into the Harvard Crimson Elite meet in the 60m competing against a wide range of DI and international talent, while the remainder of the team looked to set their marks with a trip to the Coast Guard Academy.
Worcester, MA- Worcester State jumped right back into competition this weekend, traveling North to Plymouth State to compete in the Panther Invite. The Lancers were led by senior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA) who claimed second in the long jump helping to accrue 21 points for Worcester State on a seventh place finish on the day's action.
Worcester, MA- The Lancers Men’s Track and Field team was last in action in 2024, and begin 2025 exactly where they ended it as they again journey to Wesleyan, this time to compete in the Wesleyan Indoor Invite. Leading the Lancers action today was senior Brodie Jacques (rehoboth, MA), placing second in both the 60m and long jump.
Worcester, MA- Kicking off the 2024-25 Indoor season saw the Worcester State Men’s Indoor Track and Field team on the track at Wesleyan for their first meet of the season. Senior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA) left off exactly from last year with two top finishes while sophomore Jackson Bolduc (Auburn, MA) would grab another top three finish for the Lancers to lead the day.
