BOSTON, Mass. – The Worcester State University men’s indoor track & field team saw school records from Marcus Vieira (Peabody, Mass.) and Marques Johnson (West Hartford, Conn.) in the weight throw and 1,000 meters, respectively, at the Boston University Last Chance meet on Sunday.

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Worcester State University’s sophomore Justin Lewis (Lynn, Mass.) was named the Division III New England high jump champion on Saturday as he earned the top spot with a height of 2.07m/6-09.50, leading the team to an 11th place finish of 28+ schools in attendance at the Division III New England Championship. Both Marcus Vieira (Peabody, Mass.) and John Ojukwu (Stow, Mass.) also earned All-New England honors.

The Worcester State Men’s Track and Field team posted a 3rd place finish at the 2018 MASCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships held by host Rhode Island College. The men finished in 5th in the Alliance scoring of the event.
ROXBURY, Mass. – Worcester State University’s sophomore high jumper, Justin Lewis (Lynn, Mass.) was named the All New England High Jump champion on Saturday as he and teammate Marcus Vieira (Peabody, Mass.) helped his team to a 14th place finish amongst a group of Division I, II, and III New England teams in attendance.
MEDFORD, Mass. – The Worcester State University men’s indoor track & field team placed 5th of 14 teams in attendance Saturday at the Branwen Smith-King Invitational hosted by Tufts University, as the team saw great performances from John Ojukwu (Stow, Mass.) in the 60 Meter, Marques Johnson (West Hartford, Conn.) in the 600 Meter Run, and a combination of jumpers and throwers.
