Westfield, Mass. — Samantha Souza of Bridgewater State and Emma Gniadek of Westfield State have earned the 2025 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Field Hockey Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year honors and headline the 2025 MASCAC First Team All-Conference squad which is voted on by the coaches from around the conference prior to the conference tournament.
Worcester, MA- In a repeat of the previous three MASCAC first round games for the Worcester State Lancers (7-11, 7-5), the Blue and Gold hosted the Salem State Vikings in the MASCAC Quarterfinals. The previous two MASCAC playoffs have seen Worcester and Salem State meet, with the Lancers having the 2-0 post season advantage. Two years ago the Vikings fell to Worcester 4-1 in the MASCAC semifinals, and last season, Worcester would take the 5-2 quarterfinal meeting.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Field Hockey (6-10, 6-4) wrap up their final regular season road game tonight as they journey to Anna Maria in a conference rematch. The Lancers previously beat the AMCATs at home 5-0 earlier in the season and are aiming to double up on their win tonight.
