Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Field Hockey team (8-10, 6-4) returns to the MASCAC Championship tonight with Westfield State (11-8, 7-3) hosting the #2 versus #3 seed MASCAC Semifinal matchup. Westfield fell in the MASCAC semifinals last year in OT, the Lancers are hoping to deal them the same fate this year in their bid to return to the championship.
Worcester, MA- With the conclusion of the regular season , the MASCAC Playoffs began on Tuesday night. The third seed Worcester State Lancers (7-10, 6-4) welcomes four the fourth time in two years the Salem State Vikings (2-14, 0-10) to Coughlin Field. Earlier in the season Worcester would claim two wins off the Vikings, the first a 6-0 victory in mid-October before wrapping up the season in Salem just three days ago with a 4-1 win in Worcester’s favor. This is the second season in a row the Vikings have met the Lancers in the playoffs after Salem upset Fitchburg State 4-3 last season in the MASCAC Quarterfinals to meet Worcester in the Semifinals.
Worcester, MA- In a rematch from earlier this season that saw Worcester State come away with a big 6-0 victory, the Lancer Field Hockey team (6-10, 5-4) looks to get a leg up in the postseason with a win today that will help the team solidify their third seed placement in the postseason. With a win today, the Lancers could very well see Salem State for the 6th time in two years as they faced the Vikings in the MASCAC semifinals last year as well.
Worcester, MA- In the final home game of the Worcester State Field Hockey (6-9, 5-3) regular season, the Lancers will host a repeat of the MASCAC Championship on Coughlin field as they battle for a top spot in the MASCAC POst season tournament. After coming away earlier this season with a 2-0 victory on the road, Worcester is set to repeat and grab a crucial win on the season.

Worcester is coming off two nail biting over time finishes that saw them drop one to Westfield but grab their first conference win of the season last Friday as they bested Bridgewater State 3-2. Today, the Lancers aim to come away with a decisive win, without the use of overtime action.

The Lancers, after a tough overtime loss to Westfield State last Saturday to open conference play, are aiming for their first win of the season in the conference to kick off Homecoming/Family Weekend for the Lancers.

The Lancers are on the hunt for their first goal and win this season as they look to avenge their 1-0 loss from last season in what was just their second game of the season.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Field Hockey team (0-2, 0-0) is back home today to square up against former Little East rival Keene State as they aim to dominate the game and bring home the first win of the season. Last season Worcester dropped their game of the season to the Owls 4-2, but look to swap the plan this year in their third game for the first win of the season.
