The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year have been announced across all 10 regions. Selections were voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and coordinated by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.
Worcester, MA – Second-year head coach Lazaro Mitjans Jr. is excited to announce the 2026 Worcester State Football Schedule. After finishing last season 3-7 and going 3-6 in conference, the Lancers are set to compete from week one as they look to claim a top spot in the conference standings. Worcester will be led by returning first-team offensive MASCAC selection senior Lance Williams (Westerly, RI), senior MJ Bakaysa (Plainville, CT), and second-team MASCAC defensive selection Wil Vogel (Groton, MA).
WESTFIELD, Mass. – 37 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes have been honored for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2026 Spring Sportsmanship Teams.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - On behalf of the Little East Conference (LEC) Presidents Council, Commissioner Al Bean announced the addition of Lasell University and Worcester State University as affiliate members in women’s golf for the 2026-27 academic year.
Worcester, MA- After solidifying their return trip to the MASCAC on Friday, the Worcester State Softball team (25-15, 13-3) headed back to Westfield State for the MASCAC Championship. With one loss already on their docket Worcester would look to claim game one on the day to extend the series to two games to repeat at MASCAC Champions.
Worcester, MA- With a win yesterday over the Westfield State Owls to sweep the season, the Lancers Baseball team (20-19,16-8) faced a rematch on the road to the championship game in a meeting with the Salem State Vikings. The Vikings claimed the win over Worcester in the Quarterfinals 20-10 to hand Worcester their first loss in post season play. The Lancers returned the favor with a decisive final to advance to the MASCAC Championship versus Bridgewater State, who were yet to have a loss in the tournament.
Worcester, MA- After claiming their second straight MASCAC Championship just a week ago, the Worcester Women’s Lacrosse team (14-5, 7-0) was back in the NCAA First Round with a trip to The College of New Jersey to face Messiah College.
