The Lancers are aiming to solidify their hold on a top two finish in the MASCAC in their second to last conference regular season game of the season.

How it Happened:
The Lancers started out hot in this one with senior midfielder Ella Tatarczuk (Bedford, MA) finding the back of the net off a second chance attempt from a corner kick to put them in the lead early. The next Lancer goal would come from junior defender Jessica Forbes (Clinton,MA) who would increase the lead and put Worcester up 2-0 early in the game. It would be an even attack from both teams for the remainder of the first half but the Vikings would be unable to connect to cut into the lead for a 2-0 halftime score.
The second would start with the Vikings getting a goal within the first ten minutes, getting the game back within one goal. The defence of the Lancers were able to withstand the Vikings as they tried to tie the game up, but the Lancer offensive would also force the Vikings onto their back foot as they attempted to equalize the game, giving the Lancers the crucial win in this conference game.
Junior Ella Gumienny (Douglas, MA) would close out the action with nine saves in the victory.

The Blue and Gold (8-6-1, 6-1) take a week off before their match as they prepare to face off with UMass-Dartmouth at home next Saturday for their senior day at 10am.
