Lancers Sweep Conference Weekly Honors
Worcester, MA- After the opening weekend action that saw the Worcester State Lancers open up the season 1-1, the Blue and Gold swept the MASCAC Weekly Honors. Senior Cailey Ryan (Acton, MA) was named Player of the week, while sophomore Maverick Margraf (Chaska, MN) was selected Goalie of the Week and first year Princess Delano (Mountainside, NJ) was named Rookie of the Week.

Ryan scored a game-winning goal and recorded an assist in a 1-1 opening weekend for the Lancers. Netted the game-winner in the 2-1 win over New England College and added an assist in the 3-1 setback to Western New England.
Margraf recorded a .974 save percentage with 37 saves and a GAA of 1.00 in his first collegiate win and the Lancers first win of the season over New England College.
Delano recorded her first collegiate goal and the game-tying tally in the Lancers' 2-1 win over New England College.
Worcester State opens up conference play next Saturday when they head to Framingham State to take on the Rams at 8pm.
