Northampton, MA --- Senior Julie Frankian recently ended her Worcester State women’s basketball career by playing in the New England Women’s Basketball Association Senior All-Star Classic at Smith College this past weekend.
Westfield, MA --- Senior Kiesha Jones was one of five Worcester State student-athletes honored on the MASCAC Winter Sportsmanship team as announced by league publicist Emily Diekelmann.
Bridgewater, MA --- Second-seeded Bridgewater State dispatched #3 Worcester State on Thursday evening, 59-45, to eliminate the Lancers from the MASCAC Tournament. Senior Julie Frankian poured in a team-best 12 points while junior Bianca Langford gobbled up a season-high 22 boards for WSU.
Westfield, MA --- Senior Julie Frankian, junior Bianca Langford and freshman Nani Perez were all tabbed with All-MASCAC honors in a vote by the leagues seven head coaches earlier this week as announced by league publicist Emily Diekelmann.
Minneapolis, MN --- Senior Julie Frankian has been recognized on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week and with New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Player of the Week accolades for her efforts in a 2-0 week for Worcester State. She also recieved a nod as the Co-WACBA of the Week.

Westfield, MA --- Freshman Nani Perez has been named MASCAC Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week for her outstanding contributions in a 2-0 week for Worcester State. She helped the Lancers seal the deal on the third seed in this week's conference tournament.
Worcester, MA --- Junior Bianca Langford highlighted four in double-figures coring to help lift third-seeded Worcester State to a 78-63 victory over #6 Salem State in MASCAC women’s basketball quarterfinal. Senior Kelli McPerhson nailed five three pointers for 15 points in 17 minutes of action to also pace WSU.
Worcester, MA --- Worcester State defeated Framingham State, 74-50, in MASCAC women's basketball action this afternoon to clinch the third-seed in next week's conference tournament. Senior Shannen El-Qasem did a little bit of everything with 12 points, nine boards, four helpers and three blocks for WSU.
Fitchburg, MA --- Senior Julie Frankian poured in a season-best 26 points on 7-of-12 shooting with 10 made free throws to help propel Worcester State to a 61-48 triumph over Fitchburg State in MASCAC women’s basketball action this evening at the FSU Recreation Center.
Westfield, MA --- Westfield State used a strong second half run to defeat Worcester State, 57-44, this afternoon in MASCAC women's basketball action at the Woodard Center. Senior Julie Frankian drained 15 points with five boards in the loss for the Blue and Gold.
Worcester, MA --- Freshman Nani Perez has been named Co-Worcester Area College Basketball Association (WACBA) Rookie of the Week for her outstanding all-around performance in a 1-1 week for Worcester State.
Worcester, MA --- Behind a pair of 12 point efforts by senior Shannen El-Qasem and junior Bianca Langford, Worcester State bested Bridgewater State, 50-44, in MASCAC women's basketball action this evening at the Laska Gymnasium.
Salem, MA --- Salem State held off a late comeback bid by Worcester State to defeat the Lancers, 54-51, in MASCAC women's basketball action this evening. Junior Bianca Langford notched her 13th double-double of the season with 10 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks in the setback.
Dudley, MA --- Senior Shannen El-Qasem and classmate Julie Frankian both reached double-figure scoring for the Worcester State in a balanced effort to help pace Worcester State to a 50-41 triumph over MCLA in MASCAC women’s basketball action at the Nichols Athletics Center.
Westfield, MA --- Freshman Nani Perez has been selected MASCAC and WACBA Rookie of the Week for her outstanding efforts in a victory over Framingham State last week. Perez is second in the conference averaging 4.2 assists per game.
