Westfield, MA --- Senior Teddy Ferreira was one of five Worcester State student-athletes who received a nod to the MASCAC Winter Sportsmanship team as announced by league publicist Emily Diekelmann.
Winston-Salem, NC --- Sophomore Jared Barros sprinted to 14th overall in the 200 meters with a time of 23.92 as he helped pace Worcester State on the first day of the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships this afternoon at the JDL Fast Track.
Indianapolis, IN --- Senior Terrence Gibson and sophomore Jared Barros have both been named to the list of participants who will compete at this week’s NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships as announced by the selection committee on Monday morning.
New York City, NY --- Senior Jason Sliwoski placed fourth in the heptathlon with 4,424 points while sophomore Jared Barros notched eighth place in the 200 as both helped pace the Worcester State men's indoor track and field team to tie for 39th place at the ECAC Division III Championships.
Boston, MA --- Junior Marc George and the leadoff leg of senior Pat Daley on the distance medley relay underscored two school record performances for the Worcester State men's track and field team at the Open New England Championships.
Westfield, MA --- Senior Terrence Gibson has been selected MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week for his standout performance this past weekend at the Division III New England Championships. Gibson successfully defended his 60 meter hurdle crown with a time of 7.98 which is currently the second fastest time in Division III.
Springfield, MA --- Senior classmates Terrence Gibson and Jason Sliwoski both underscored four who earned All-New England accolades as they helped Worcester State tie for tenth at the Division III New England Championships. Gibson won the 60 meter hurdles and Sliwoski was the runner-up in the heptathlon.
Springfield, MA --- Senior teammates Jason Sliwoski and Matthew Begley are among the top three out of 11 entrants in the heptathlon after the first day of the Division III New England Indoor Championships hosted by Springfield.
Providence, RI --- Senior Stephen Gannon and sophomore Sam Weeks both won their respective events to help pace #19 Worcester State men’s track and field team to third place at the MASCAC/Alliance Championships this afternoon at the Providence Career and Technical High School.
Medford, MA --- Sophomore Jared Barros dashed to first in the 200 meters (22.84), helped pace the second place 4x200 meter relay and he added fourth in the 60 meters (7.08) to highlight the Worcester State men's track and field team at the Tufts Cupid Challenge this afternoon.

Middletown, CT --- Senior Robert White tossed a first-place mark in the weight throw while freshmen teammates Mamudu Dennis and Caleb White qualified for the postseason to lead the #23 Worcester State men’s indoor track and field team at the non-scoring Wesleyan Invitational.
Boston, MA --- Sophomore Jared Barros was the top Division III finisher in two events and senior Stephen Gannon qualified for the Open New Englands in the 400 meters as both highlighed a strong performance for the Worcester State men's track and field team at the non-scoring John Terrier Invitational.
Medford, MA --- Sophomore Jared Barros had two top three performances and he ran the lead leg on the second place 4x400 meter relay (3:29.92) which helped pace the Worcester State men's track and field team at the Tufts Invitational this afternoon.
Kingston, RI --- Senior classmates Jason Sliwoski and Matthew Begley both finished fifth and seventh, respectively, at the two-day University of Rhode Island heptathlon. Begley ended the competition winning the shot put with the 19th longest toss in Division III.
New Orleans, LA --- The Worcester State University men’s track and field team has debuted as the 21st ranked team in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Indoor Division III Top 25 poll composite index.
