The Lancers were led by senior Leah Berg (Worcester, MA) as they totaled 81 points on the course and all seven top finishers in the top 25.

Worcester, MA- After a few weeks of training the Worcester State Women’s Cross Country headed to Westfield State today to compete in the James Earley invite in a precursor training match for the MASCAC Championship. The Lancers were led by senior Leah Berg (Worcester, MA) who finished in 36th place to help Worcester to 234 points and an eighth place finish. The result marks another consistent showing for the Lancers as they continue to build momentum through the midseason stretch.

Worcester, MA – The Worcester State women’s cross country team opened its season with a short trip north to Fitchburg State for the annual Jim Sheehan Invite. The Lancers were led by sophomore Samantha Edwards (East Longmeadow, MA), who placed third overall and second in team scoring, helping Worcester secure the team title with 20 points in the tri-meet against Fitchburg State and Curry.
