Leah is a 2022 graduate of Burncoat High School in Worcester, MA...two years swimming for USA Team...two years of varsity cross country and outdor track and one year of indoor track for the Patriots...made all-states for cross country in 2021...broke the burncoat cross country school record in 2021...sole Worcester Public School athlete to compete in the 2021 Cross Country All-State meet in 2021

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Cross Country team hit the 5k course in Devens, MA today to compete at the 2023 MASCAC Championship. The team took the course with gusto on a warmer than normal October afternoon in their bid for top finishes on the course as they get set for their NCAA competition season.

The meet, initially scheduled for Saturday, September 16th, was moved to the following day to ensure the best course possible as the area was faced with the threat of Hurricane Lee. Sophomore Leah Berg (Worcester, MA) was again the first runner across for the Lancers for the second time in a row this season.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Cross Country kicked off their season Saturday morning as they headed to the Jim Sheehan Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State. The 5k course kicked off the Lancers Cross Country season and saw them finish in third place in the team competition. The Lancers were led by sophomore Leah Berg (Worcester, MA) who led the pack of Lancers on the course.
