Cross Country Competes in New England Regionals

BRUNSWICK, Maine- Mia Rogers (North Dighton, Mass.) finished 14th overall in a field of 399 runners on the women's side with strong performances from both the men's and women's cross country teams Saturday at the New England Division III Regionals at Bowdoin College.

Rogers led the women's team to a 20th place overall finish out of 57 teams, while the men's team was led by Patrick Carleton (Tewksbury, Mass.) to a 22nd place finish of 58 teams.

Elizabeth Olson (Wilmington, Mass.) crossed the line of the 6K course with an overall time of 23:49. Ryann Molinari (Grafton, Mass.) was the third Lancer to cross the finish line in 165th place. Kelsey Bedard (Leominster, Mass.) was right behind her with a time of 24:57. Rounding out the top five finishers for the Lancers was Laura DelleChiae (Haverhill, Mass.) finishing 196th in the pack of 399.

Drew Fottler (Chelmsford, Mass.) crossed the 8K finish line with a time of 26:43. Colin Brennan (Newbury, Mass.) crossed in 152nd place as the third Lancer to finish. Masato Terajima (Holden, Mass.) and Joe Grider (Hopedale, Mass.) finished back to back with times of 28:36 to cap off the top five finishers for the Lancers.
