Women's Cross Country Competes at Emmanuel Saints Invitational
Worcester, MA --- Junior Kara Antrim led Worcester State College this afternoon with a 10th place (20:42) finish out of 112 runners at the Emmanuel Saints Invitational at Franklin Park. While WSC did not finish with any team scoring, Wheaton took the top spot with 25 points followed by Johnson & Wales and host Emmanuel.

Freshman Maura Withington (Walpole, MA) continued her impressive rookie campaign crossing the line in 16th (21:00) while classmate Meg Plant (Franklin, MA) too wasn't far behind in 23rd with a time of 21:46. Sophomore Rachael Sullivan (Ipswich, MA) covered the 5k course in 42nd (23:01) to round out the finishers for the Lancers.
The Blue and Gold will compete again next Saturday at the MASCAC Championships hosted by Westfield State.
