Connors Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week
Worcester, MA- After grabbing their first win of the season this past weekend the Worcester State Volleyball team extended their success as first year Reece Connors (Fresno, CA) was named this week’s MASCAC Rookie of the Week.
Worcester, MA- After grabbing their first win of the season this past weekend the Worcester State Volleyball team extended their success as first year Reece Connors (Fresno, CA) was named this week's MASCAC Rookie of the Week.
Connors Collected 22 kills, 27 digs, six total blocks, 10 assists and three service aces in a 1-2 week for the Lancers. Had 13 kills, 13 digs, five assists and two block assists in the 3-1 win over Bay Path.
Joining Connors on the honor roll was sophomore Beatrice Gamboa-Estrella (Simi Valley, CA) who collected 26 kills, 28 digs, three block assists and three aces in a 1-2 week for the Lancers. Tallied 20 kills and 11 digs in the 3-1 win over Bay Path, and sophomore Katherine Crateau (North Andover, MA) who collected 42 digs with seven assists and four aces in a 1-2 week for the Lancers, including 16 digs in the 3-1 win over Bay Path.
The Lancers are back in action tomorrow with a trip to Rhode Island College for a 6pm start.
