Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Volleyball team has claimed another MASCAC Rookie of the Week, as Beatrice Gamboa-Estrella (Simi Valley, CA) has been picked for the third time this season.

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Volleyball team has claimed another MASCAC Rookie of the Week, as Beatrice Gamboa-Estrella (Simi Valley, CA) has been picked for the third time this season.

Gamboa-Estrella registered a double-double of 10 kills and 13 digs along with three assists and a service ace in the Lancers’ five set win over Framingham State. So far this season, Gamboa-Estrella has recorded 176 kills and digs on her rookie season.

Worcester State returns to action tomorrow when they return home for a non-conference match with Keene State with first serve set for 7pm.
