Worcester, MA- In the final meet before the MASCAC Championship, the Lancers Track and Field team journeyed to Eastern Connecticut to compete at the Bonnie Edmondson Classic. Worcester State was set to mark their final attempts for qualifying times into the MASCAC Championships at Bridgewater State next week with their finishes today. They were led by the top performances of sophomore Alexis Strong (Southington, CT) who finished second in the long jump.
Worcester, MA- In a prep meet that would provide the Track and Field team their first in depth look at their MASCAC Championship site in two weeks, the Worcester State Women’s Track and Field team was ready to set their marks and put the conference on watch. The Lancers were led by sophomore Jadah Stokes (Chicopee, MA) who led the day with one first place and two second place finishes on the day.
Worcester, MA- On a windy Friday, the Worcester State Women’s Track and Field team went full force at the Regis Classic as they looked to continue their success from last week’s meet at UMass-Dartmouth. The Lancers were led by the top marks of sophomore Ciara Adu-Addo (Worcester, MA) who claimed second in the 100m and long jump in the while helping to lead Worcester to a team 84 points for first at the meet.
Worcester, MA- In the first meet of the outdoor season the Worcester Track and Field team journey to UMass-Dartmouth to compete in the Corsairs invitational. The Lancers were led by sophomores Ciara Adu-Addo (Worcester, MA) and Jadah Stokes (Chicopee, MA) who grabbed the second and third place spots in their events spot as Worcester State recorded 47 points with two event scores still to be tallied.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Indoor Track and Field team returned to action this afternoon with a trip to Wheaton College for the Pre-Post Season Invitational. Leading the day was sophomore Jadah Stokes (Chicopee, MA) and graduate student Sthanisha Moreau (Taunton, MA) who claimed top finishes in both the shot put and weight throw.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Indoor Track and Field team had a split day today with three athletes heading to the Boston College Open Meet at the New Balance Track in Boston while the rest of the squad travelled down to the Coast Guard Academy for a rare friday afternoon meet.
Worcester, MA- Worcester State jumped right back into competition this weekend, traveling North to Plymouth State to compete in the Panther Invite. The Lancers were led by sophomore Ciara Adu-Addo (Worcester, MA) who claimed first in the long jump and third in the 60m helping to claim 57 points for Worcester’s 6th place finish on the day's action.
Worcester, MA- Kicking off the indoor season would see the Worcester State Women’s Track and Field team down in Connecticut to compete in the Wesleyan Indoor Invite. Both on the track and in the field the Lancers were set to make their presence known in their sole meet of 2024.
