McFadries’ Javelin Throw at AIC Earns Her MASCAC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State's Stephanie McFadries (Burlington, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's outdoor field athlete of the week for her performance in the javelin on Saturday at the AIC Yellow Jacket Invitational.

McFadries qualified for Division III New England's as she earned second place (first place of Division III student-athletes) at the meet with a javelin throw of 46.56m (16' 8"). With this marking, she currently stands at sixth nationally in the event.

The women's outdoor track & field team will travel to Westfield State this upcoming Saturday for the Jerry Gravel Classic.
