Mensah Tabbed MASCAC Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University's Bernice Mensah (Worcester, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's outdoor track & Field rookie of the week, as announced by the conference Monday (Apr. 30) afternoon.

This past weekend, Mensah was named the MASCAC outdoor champion in the triple jump (10.67m/35-00.25). She also earned second place in the long jump (5.11m/16-09.25), third place in the 100 meter dash (13.07) and fifth place in the 200 meter dash (27.25) at the MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track & field championship.

This upcoming weekend, those who have qualified (including Mensah), will attend the Division III New England Championships at MIT.
