New Orleans, LA --- Five Worcester State female student-athletes have been recognized with US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches (USTFCCCA) honors for their performance on the field and in the classroom.
Worcester, MA --- Worcester State women’s track and field student-athlete Christy Deininger has been named to the Capitol One Academic Division III All-District I Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (Co-SIDA). The sophomore will advance to the national ballot for All-American consideration.
Claremont, CA --- Junior Briana Wise posted a second-place time of 24.33 in the 200 meter finals as she garnered All-American accolades on the final day of the Division III Outdoor Championships. The Lancers finished the meet in a tie for 28th place - their highest finish ever at the national meet.
Indianapolis, IN --- Highlighted by junior Briana Wise, the Worcester State Women’s Track & Field team will have five who will be in the traveling party to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. It marks the largest number in school history ever to attend a single track and field national championship event.
Rensselaer, NY --- Sophomore Christy Deininger broke her own school record in the 100 meter hurdles while freshman classmates Alyssa Jasper and Katie Cataldo both brought home certificiates as they helped lead the Worcester State women's track and field team to a tie for 22nd at the two-day ECAC Division III Championships.
Cambridge, MA --- Junior Briana Wise shattered her own school marks with third in the 200 meters (24.28) and fifth in the 100 meters (12.04) as propelled the Worcester State women's outdoor track and field team to a tie for 21st at the Open New Enlgand Championships this afternoon at MIT.
Cambridge, MA --- Junior Briana Wise took home New England titles in the 100 and 200 meter dash while she helped the 4x100 meter relay team take home first (42.27) as the Worcester State women’s track and field team placed fourth with 60 points at the Division III New England Championships this afternoon at MIT.
Cambridge, MA --- Freshman standout Alyssa Jasper is in third place in the heptathlon with 2,428 points to help lead the Worcester State women's track team on the second day of the Division III New England Championships.
Westfield, MA --- Highlighted by junior Briana Wise, the Worcester State women’s track and field team broke seven meet records and recorded 10 first place finishes this afternoon en route to capturing their second MASCAC Outdoor Championship this afternoon at the Jerry Gravel Track at Westfield State.

Fitchburg, MA --- Sophomore Christy Deininger broke the school record in the 100 meter hurdles (14.80) with second and Worcester State claimed seven first-place finishes as the Lancers took home first place at the Fitchburg State Invitational this afternoon.
Worcester, MA --- First-year standout Alyssa Jasper ended the Holy Cross Heptathlon in fourth out of 18 competators. With 3,890 points, she moved into the fifth-highest score in the latest Division III New England Rankings.
Amherst, MA --- Junior Briana Wise and sophomore Gaby Gonet both eclipsed their own school records as both helped pace the Worcester State women’s track & field team to seventh place at the UMass Amherst Minutemen Spring Invitational.
