Five members of the Worcester State University women's indoor track & field represented the Lancers Friday on the first day of the New England Championships at Bowdoin College.
The Worcester State University men's and women's indoor track & field teams combined to take home seven individual and two relay conference championships as they competed in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships Saturday at ALLwell North. Both teams finished in third place overall.
Senior Anthony Christo (Peabody, Mass.) won the men's weight throw, junior Abigail MacGregor (Salem, N.H.) won the women's 60 meter dash, and sophomore Bernice Mensah (Worcester, Mass.) won the women's long jump as the Worcester State University men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed in the Branwen Smith-King Invitational Saturday afternoon at Tufts University's Gantcher Center.
