Danso Qualifies for All Division New England's in 60M Hurdles at Tufts Invitational #1
MEDFORD, Mass. – Worcester State University’s junior Abigail Danso (Worcester, Mass.) marked a time of 9.43, good for third place, in the 60 Meter Hurdles on Saturday at the Tufts Invitational #1 to qualify for All Division New England’s.

Danso already qualified for Division III New England's at the UMass Boston back in December, and currently stands at 10th place in all of NCAA Division III.
The Lancers' Elizabeth McCormack (Gloucester, Mass.) led the team in the throwing events, as she placed fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 13.05m, and came in eighth in the shot put with a top throw of 9.77m.
Freshman Rachel Stier (Mansfield, Mass.) claimed third place in the 400 Meter Dash in a time of 1:02.67, and then led the team in the 200 Meter Dash in a time of 28.18.
Worcester State's Justine Murdocca (Milford, Mass.) came in fourth in the 3000 Meter Run in a time of 11:30.32. Sophomore Laura DelleChiaie (Haverhill, Mass.) followed with a time of 12:15.34 at eighth place.
Next weekend, the Lancers travel to Springfield College for the Springfield Invitational #2.
