Framingham State: 0
How it Happened:
The Lancers opened aggressively, registering seven first-half shots. Junior Ava Lemanski (Clinton, MA) fired a pair of early chances just wide, while senior Ella Tatarczuk (Bedford, MA) and junior Olivia Magierowski (Brimfield, MA) each forced saves from the Rams' keeper. On the other end, goalkeeper junior Ella Gumienny (Douglas, MA) was tested repeatedly, making seven first-half saves to keep the score level at 0–0 at the break.
The second half saw Worcester ramp up the pressure with 15 more shots. Lemanski remained dangerous, sending multiple efforts high or wide before testing the keeper again in the 53rd minute. The breakthrough finally came in the 83rd minute, when Lemanski finished off a well-worked sequence from senior Erin Condon (East Bridgewater, MA) and first-year Gabby Villeneuve (Walpole, MA) for the decisive goal.
The Rams pressed hard in the closing moments, forcing Gumienny into two more saves in the 89th minute, but the junior stood tall to secure the win.
Gumienny finished with 9 saves for her third shutout of the season.
