Worcester, MA --- For the second time this season, senior Tiffany Rotatori (Auburn, MA) has been named MASCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week after she notched four goals in a 2-0 week for Worcester State.
Rotatori, netted a hat trick in a 4-0 victory over UMass Dartmouth and added a solo goal in a 4-2 triumph over Salem State to become the Lancers all-time leading scorer with 44 tallies.
With at least one game left this season, Rotatori is within striking distance of breaking three more WSC marks. Her 98 career points has her on the cusp of breaking Maura Cushing's career mark of 100 which was set from 1992-95 and her single-season total of 34 points is just one shy away from the school record of 35 that was set by Melissa Crowley in 1993 and Vanessa Vallee in 1998. Rotatori's 15 markers this year also brings her to within one of eclipsing Valley's all-time best of 16 set in 1998.
In addition to leading the team in goals and points, Rotatori also has a season best four assists. In the MASCAC she is tied for second in goals and is second overall in points.
The third seeded Lancers look to return to the NCAA Tournament when they will travel to second seeded Bridgewater State for the semifinals of the MASCAC Conference Tournament at 2 PM.
