Witkowski Named MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week

Worcester, MA- After a 2-0 week for the Worcester State Women's Lacrosse team that found tem remaining undefeated in conference play, senior Molly Witkowski (Greenville, NY) was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the conference.

Witkowski tallied seven goals and five assists for 12 points with a ground ball and three caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for the Lancers. Scored the gamewinner in overtime to defeat Bridgewater State 16-15 to remain undefeated in conference. Had three goals and two assists vs. the Bears. Recorded four goals and three assists in the 19-8 win over Keene State. On the season Witkowski has recorded 26 goals with 24 assists for 50 points on the season.

Worcester State Lacrosse is back in action on Wednesday when they host Western Connecticut for their One Love Game at 5pm.
