Lancers Women's Lacrosse Announce 2026 Schedule
Worcester, MA – After claiming their first MASCAC Championship and earning the program’s first NCAA appearance last season, the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team, led by 2025 BSN MASCAC Coach of the Year Kelly Downs, is pleased to announce its 2026 schedule.

"Last season was historic for our program, but it also set a new standard" says Downs. "Our group is motivated, hungry, and excited to get back out there and keep pushing forward. There's a lot of momentum within the program, and our staff and student-athletes are eager to build on that success."
The Lancers will be led by seniors and MASCAC First Team and Second Team selections McKayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) and Molly Witkowski (Greenville, NY), alongside an experienced group of returning players and new additions to the Blue and Gold.
Worcester State will open the season on the road with a February 25th outing at Western New England, followed by a trip to Maine to face Southern Maine on February 28th. March begins with the Blue and Gold hosting their home opener on March 5th, highlighted by the Hair Havoc and Pink Out game against UMass Dartmouth, before traveling to Wheaton on March 7th. The Lancers return home on March 10th to face Johnson & Wales in the Evan Armit Tribute Game, then head south to Hilton Head, South Carolina, for a March 16th -17th back-to-back matchup against Salve Regina and Ursinus.
Worcester State returns to the East Coast with a road contest at Eastern Connecticut State on March 25th before opening MASCAC play on March 28th at Fitchburg State.
April opens with the Lancers back at home on April 1st for their Pituitary Tumor Awareness Game against Keene State, followed by a road trip to Bridgewater State on April 4th. Worcester will then host its One Love Game against Western Connecticut on April 8th before welcoming new conference member Anna Maria on April 11th in a game honoring graduating seniors and alumni. The April 15th matchup at Framingham State will serve as the Nicole Downs Ovarian Cancer Awareness Game. Following a slight scheduling adjustment, Worcester State will travel to Massachusetts Maritime on April 17th and to Westfield State on April 21st.
The Lancers will close out the regular season at home on April 25th, hosting Salem State in the spring season's Morgan's Message Game.
