Czerniawski Named MASCAC Goalie of the Week for Third Week
Worcester, MA- With the start of a new year, some things do not change such as the dominance of senior Kelsey Czerniawski (Chicopee, MA) who picked up her third MASCAC Goalie of the Week honor after helping the Lancers to the Championship game of the Bagley Invitational hosted by Castleton State this past weekend.
Worcester, MA- With the start of a new year, some things do not change such as the dominance of senior Kelsey Czerniawski (Chicopee, MA) who picked up her third MASCAC Goalie of the Week honor after helping the Lancers to the Championship game of the Bagley Invitational hosted by Castleton State this past weekend.
Czerniawski recorded 65 saves with a .970 save percentage, a 1.01 GAA and a shutout in two games at the Bagley Invitational. Stopped 39 shots with a clean sheet in the 2-0 win over SUNY-Potsdam. Added 26 saves in the 2-1 setback to VT State-Castleton.
On the season Czerniawski has recorded 287 saves with a .947 save percentage.
Worcester State will be back in action on Thursday when they travel to the University of New England to take on the Nor'Easters at 7pm.
