Personal:
Julie was born in Lake Havasu, AZ...is majoring in Occupational Therapy with a minor in Addiction Studies at Worcester State...the daughter of Amy and Scott Hammer... has two siblings, Chloe, who competes in track and field in college, and Torunn...choose worcester state because of the highly recommended occupational therapy program and is one of the few school that also has womens ice hockey.

Before Worcester State:
Julie is a 2025 graduate of Ledyard High School in Ledyard, CT...played three years of varsity ice hockey and outdoor track for the Colonels...received Hobey Baker Award as a senior
