Waldron Named MASCAC Player of the Week

Worcester, MA- After a thrilling week for the Worcester State Women's Basketball team, junior Lena Waldron (Quincy, MA) was named this week's MASCAC Player of the Week.

Waldron averaged 20.5 points, five rebounds and three steals while shooting 52.8 percent from the floor (19-36) in a 2-0 week for the Lancers. Netted 27 points, five rebounds and a steal in the 95-79 win over Dean. Scored 14 points with five rebounds, five steals and two assists in the 67-66 win over New England College. In the season Waldron has recorded 96 points with 36 rebounds, eight assists and 15 steals.

The Lancers are back in action tomorrow when they travel to Keene State for a 5pm start.
