The Lancers, who fell to Framingham State in a MASCAC Semi-final meeting last season, look to improve from their 6-6 conference record. Worcester finished with 22 points in the rankings, while defending champions Framingham State finished with 36, and 6 first place votes. The Lancers return Elizabeth Gallella, who earned All-Conference accolades last season after she
averaged 9.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game with 88 assists and 43.9 shooting percentage for the Lancers. As a team, the Lancers averaged 64.4 points, 42.8 rebounds, and 17.8 assists, with a 3pt percentage of 21.8% and a free throw percentage of 61.7% during the 2021-22 campaign.
The Lancers compete in the Worcester City Tip-off Tournament at WPI against Clark University on November 11th to kick off their season, with tip-off slated for 7:30pm.
