Worcester State Softball Announces 2026 Schedule
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Softball team, headed up by Head Coach Keri Bianchini, are pleased to announce their 2026 schedule. After claiming the 2025 MASCAC Championship last season on a 27-14 record, 9-5 in the MASCAC, the Lancers have primed their schedule to look for the repeat. Worcester will be led by a season group of veterans that include seniors Bella Gasbarro (Leominster, MA) and Emma Lapoint (Westfield, MA), who both received first team All-Conference selections from last season, Bailey Tammaro (Fitchburg, MA), Amanda Adamuska (Dudley, MA), Camden Heenan (Webster, MA), Carisa Andrews (Medford, MA) and Morgan Keefe (Dracut, MA), who was named to the second team All-Conference. Alongside these celebrated veterans will be a depth of returning talent and new additions to squad.

“We are looking forward to this new season and continuing to work hard and pick up where we left off to defend our MASCAC Championship” says Bianchini. “This year we have a great mix of leadership balanced with a strong group of newcomers who have been working together since the fall. Our team has a lot of heart and are ready to get back in the arena. We are ready to battle!”
Worcester State season will begin as it has for the last three seasons, with a trip to Florida to participate in the The Spring Games. Opening action will start on March 15th as the Lancers take on Meredith and Smith, while the next day will see them meeting with Macalester and Wisconsin Whitewater before a Saint Patrick’s Day showdown against the Green Terror of McDaniel College and Keene State. A day off will break up their week where the Blue and Gold will slide back into action versus Ramapo and the University of New England before a final day of action on March 20th that will see a rematch with McDaniel before a close out meeting with Plymouth State.
With a return to New England, the Lancers begin their double header meetings with a trip to Clark University on March 24th before hosting their NEWMAC foe WPI on March 26th. The conference schedule kicks off on March 28th with a trip to Westfield State before Worcester remains on the road with trips to Gordon, March 31st, Emmanuel, April 2nd, and Salem State on April 4th. The Lancers host their home conference opener on April 7th, prior to welcoming Rhode Island College on the 9th and Mass Maritime for a weekend special on April 11th.
April 14th will send Worcester north to Fitchburg State before hosting their final regular season home games on April 20th versus Bridgewater State, the 22nd versus Lasell and the 25th against Anna Maria. April 29th will find the Blue and Gold stepping away from conference action with a trip west to Amherst before closing out the regular season on May 2nd at MCLA.
