Final
Worcester State: 4
MCLA: 3
How it Happened:
It would be a two run second inning for the Lancers to get the action started as junior Cali Brouillard (Millbury, MA) would double to left center, sending across senior Bailey Tammaro (Fitchburg, MA) and first year Kate Johansson for the 2-0 lead. It would be a quiet third for both teams but the fourth would again find Worcester adding another run as Brouillard would this time single to center field to bring in sophomore Laurel Field (Holden, MA).
MCLA would aim to make a comeback in the bottom of the fourth, recording one run but Field would put the lead back at three with a single to right that would score senior Bella Gasbarro (Leominster, MA).
The bottom of the seventh would see the Trailblazers attempt the takedown but the Lancer defense would hold strong for the 4-3 victory. Junior Peyton Maloney (West Boylston, MA) would go for the complete game win, recording 10 strikeouts in the game.
Final

MCLA: 6
How it Happened:
In game two action the Lancers jumped out early to a 3-0 lead. In the top of the second Tammaro would single down the right side allowing Senior Morgan Keefe (Dracut, MA) and Senior Carisa Andrews (Medford, MA) to cross home before Brouillard would sending a grounder to third in a bid to send Senior Camden Heenan (Webster, MA) across.
The top of the third would add an additional two runs as Gasbarro would go deep over the left field fence for a two run homer with senior Emma Lapoint (Westfield, MA) crossing along with her.
The bottom of the fourth had MCLA tack on three runs before a power sixth for both teams. Senior Amanda Adamuska (Dudley, MA) would go for the sac bunt and find a base while Tammaro and Heenan would race home on the error. A further Trailblazer error would send in Brouillard. Lapoint, who is in the hunt for career RBI 100, would get one step closer with a single to short; scoring Adamuska. MCLA pushed in three runs of their own at the bottom of the inning for a 9-6 score into the final inning where the Lancers held on for the win and clinched the second seed in the MASCAC tournament.
