Glynn Tabbed as MASCAC Pitcher of the Week

WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Senior pitcher Molly Glynn (Abington, Mass.) has been named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) softball Pitcher of the Week, announced on Monday afternoon by the conference office.

Glynn threw a complete game four-hit shutout last week in an 11-0 win over Morrisville State in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She struck out five batters and allowed just one walk to earn the victory.

For the entirety of the Lancers' stay at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic, Glynn made three appearances, throwing 13.2 innings and recording a 0.51 earned run average. She struck out seven batters and gave up just one earned run.

The Lancers (4-6) will play their home opener tomorrow afternoon when they face Lasell College in a doubleheader starting at 4:00 PM.
