Keene, NH --- Top-seeded Wheaton defeated #7 Worcester State in a walk-off win for the 5-3 triumph in the ECAC Division III New England Softball Championship game. Senior Hannah Everson and junior Hillary Hart each blasted homers in the setback for the Blue and Gold.
Keene, NH --- WSU hurler Hannah Everson tossed a two-hit shutout to help lead seventh-seeded Lancers to a 5-0 triumph over #3 Keene State in the semifinals of the ECAC Division III New England Softball Tournament this morning.
Louisville, KY --- Senior Hannah Everson has received All-New England Second-Team honors as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) this afternoon. Everson is currently ranked sixth in Division III with an astounding 0.79 ERA.
Waltham, MA --- Freshman Hayley Terry went 3-for-3 with two RBIs as she helped lead seventh-seeded Worcester State to a 6-4 upset over #2 Brandies in eight innings in the Quarterfinal round of the ECAC Division III New England Softball Tournament this afternoon at Marcus Field.
Cape Cod, MA --- Worcester State has been slotted as the seventh seed in this week’s ECAC Division III New England Softball Tournament and will play at #2 Brandeis on Wednesday at 4 PM in the play-in Quarterfinal round.
Bridgewater, MA --- Fourth-seeded Fitchburg State defeated #3 Worcester State, 1-0, in the first elimination game of the MASCAC Tournament Softbal Semifinals this morning at Bridgewater State's Alumni Field. Senior Hannah Everson fanned eight in the tough-luck setback.
N. Adams, MA --- Third-seeded Worcester State was handed a 1-0 setback by #2 MCLA this afternoon in the Quarterfinal round of the MASCAC Softball Tournament. The Lancers will play #4 Fitchburg State tomorrow in the losers bracket of the semifinals at Bridgewater State.
Worcester, MA --- Senior Kylene Pease went 2-for-4 with two runs and a pair of RBIs as she helped lead third-seeded Worcester State to a 7-2 victory over #6 Framingham State in the opening round of the MASCAC Tournament this afternoon at Rockwood Park.
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Senior Kylene Pease and Hannah Everson, junior Hillary Hart, sophomore Katie Storro and freshman Hayley Terry have all earned a nod to the All-MASCAC Softball Team as announced by league publicist Jim Seavey in a vote by the leagues eight head coaches this week.
Hartford, CT --- Worcester State and Trinity (CT) split a series on Monday afternoon with the Lancers taking the 3-2 opener and the Bantams earning the 3-1 triumph in the nightcap. Junior Carolyn Hassett scored twice and went 4-for-4 with a pair of runs scored in the series.
Worcester, MA --- For the first time in more than 10 years, Meghan Rich is surrounded by unfamiliar faces on the softball diamond. Now a freshman at Worcester State University, Rich has carved out a role in the Lancers’ rotation at the start of the season.

Fitchburg, MA --- Worcester State defeated Fitchburg State twice in MASCAC softball action this afternoon at Coolidge Park, 7-0 and 5-3. Senior Hannah Everson tossed a three-hit shutout in the opener and then classmate Aimee Lamoureux went 3-for-3 in the nightcap.
Worcester, MA -- Worcester State swept Framingham State, 1-0 and 5-0, this afternoon in MASCAC softball action at Rockwood Park. Senior Hannah Everson tossed a one-hitter with nine strikeouts in the opener while senior classmates Alex Kerr and Kylene Pease combined for six of Worcester State's eight base-knocks in the nightcap.
Worcester, MA --- Senior Hannah Everson and freshman Meghan Rich both tossed shutouts as they helped lead Worcester State to a 13-0 and 21-0 sweep of Mass Maritime in a pair of games that went five innings this afternoon in MASCAC softball action.
