Bridgewater State: 3
How it Happened:
The Lancers started off the game, conceding an early goal to the Bears at just over five minutes into the action. Junior Goalie, Tobias Schnieder (Hudson, WI), was able to grab two crucial saves in the opening 45 minutes of the game to keep the game within reach for the Lancers. Schneider would grab another crucial save with around five minutes to go in the half, however, there would be a follow-up shot from the Bears that would find the back of the net for a second goal for Bridgewater and a 2-0 lead into the halftime break.
In the second half, the Bears would continue their strong offence and find another goal to extend their lead to three. Senior Taylor Gavaletz (Dudley, MA) was able to get a look on the net via a header, however the ball did not find the back of the net. Schneider had an impressive eight save outing in this game, but there was not the offensive luck this game for the Lancers giving the Bears the win 3-0 in this afternoon outing.
What's Next:
Worcester State (4-6, 3-2) again moved away from the conference games next Tuesday as they host Springfield College for a 7pm first touch.
