Worcester, MA- Worcester State Men?s Soccer team had two players receive MASCAC weekly honors this week after their dominant run in the post season that saw them clinch the MASCAC Championship yesterday afternoon in penalty kicks. Junior Andy Ramirez (Waltham, MA) was named the MASCAC Tournament MVP at the conclusion of the match for his strong performance all postseason.
Worcester, MA - The Lancers hosted the Bridgewater State Bears in the 2022 MASCAC Championship Sunday afternoon in front of a lively crowd at Coughlin Memorial Field. The Lancers & Bears both came into this game after their 0-0 draw earlier in the season with the intention to put one in the net and seal the Conference title for a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The only goal in the game scored by Sophomore Defender Mal Hawkins (Los Angeles, CA) sealed the victory for Worcester as they eliminated the defending champions and punched their ticket to the MASCAC Championship for the first time since 2016.
