Kubik Named MASCAC Goalie of the Week

Worcester, MA- After another DII battle and victory for Worcester State Men’s Ice Hockey, the Lancers have had one selected for a MASCAC Weekly Honor. Senior Jakub Kubik (Uherske Hradiste, Czech Republic) was named the MASCAC Goalie of the Week.

Kubik made 25 saves with a clean sheet of 0.00 GAA and a 1.000 save percentage in the Lancers’ 2-0 victory over Post for his shutout and win on the season. So far this season he has recorded 148 saves with a 3.09 GAA and a .925 save percentage in four games of action.

The Lancers are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Westfield State at 7:35pm to face off in a return to conference play versus the Owls.
