Friedlander Named MASCAC Goalie of the Week

Worcester, MA- After a dominant 2-0 week for the Worcester State Men’s Ice Hockey team, the Lancers had one of their own selected to the MASCAC weekly honors. For the second time this season senior Wyatt Friedlander (Lake Placid, NY) was selected as the MASCAC Goalie of the Week.

Friedlander finished with a 2.50 GAA, 75 saves and a .938 save percentage in a 2-0 week for the Lancers. Stopped 39 shots in the 4-3 win over Fitchburg State and then added 36 more saves in the 4-2 victory over Westfield State. On the season thus far, Friedlander has recorded a 2.93 GAA with 344 saves for a .930 save percentage.

The Lancers are back in action looking for their fourth straight win on Thursday when they head to Anna Maria and the Hogan Rink for a 5:40pm puck drop.
