Men and Women's Ice Hockey to Host a Match at the DCU Center

Worcester, MA- The Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey teams will be hosting a game at the DCU Center this season in conjunction with Worcester Railers games. The Lancers home ice, Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center, is also the practice ice of the Railers organization.

The Men’s program will host Westfield St. in a conference matchup on December 10. The puck drop is scheduled for 3:30pm. Preceding the game, at 1:30pm, the Worcester State Men’s Ice Hockey alumni will be taking the ice for their annual matchup. The Worcester State Alumni office will be hosting a reception following the Alumni game that will include light appetizers and a cash bar to enjoy while watching the blue and gold in action. Tickets to this event will also include admittance into the nights Worcester Railers versus Idaho Steelheads match. There are two separate ticket packages available ($50 and $30) and registration can be found at the Worcester State Alumni Events Page. Registration is required by December 2.

The Women will be in action on February 11 when they host Anna Maria for a 3:30pm faceoff ahead of the Worcester Railers versus Reading Royals at 7:05pm. Plans and tickets will be announced closer to the date of competition, so be sure to keep the date noted on your calendar.

Both squads are back in action in December when the men head to Salem St for a 7pm start. The women will host UMass-Boston at home on December 2 at 7:10pm.
