Lancers Wrap up Season at Rhode Island College

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State men's golf team traveled to Rhode Island College on Wednesday, posting a team score of 332 in their match with Rhode Island College in a one-on-one battle.

Leading the way was Junior Nolan Finan (Vernon, CT), who turned in a standout individual performance with a round of 79 (+7), good for a second-place finish in the meet. Finan's consistency set the tone for the entire squad.

Senior Cameron Verna (Natick, MA) continued his strong play with an 81 (+9), sharing a tie for fourth place and giving Worcester State two golfers in the top four. Junior Jon Wasserman (Salem, MA) rounded out the top trio for the Lancers with an 83 (+11), finishing sixth overall.

Junior Zack Hurley (Feeding Hills, MA) contributed an 89 (+17) to claim ninth place, while first year Sean Tyrie (East Quogue, NY) rounded out the Worcester State lineup in 10th.
