Men's Golf Places 11th at Rain-Shortened RIC Spring Invitational

Providence, RI --- Chris McCarthy carded a score of 85 (+13) good for 23rd overall to help lead Worcester State men's golf team to a 11th place finish at the Rhode Island College Spring Invitational at the Par-72 Triggs Memorial Golf Course on Friday.

Husson finished the rain-shortened event in first with a score of 317.  The Lancers fired a combined score of 369.

Junior Joe Belanger (Holden, MA) notched 32nd place (89) while Dane Goolsky was five strokes behind with a score of 94 (48th place).  Jory Courtney and freshman Joe Oram (Mansfield, MA) fired scores of 101 (T58th) and 110 (62nd), respectively.

Worcester State will take a week off before they compete in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational held at Allendale Country Club on April 13-14.
