Men's Golf Competes At Middlebury Invitational

Middlebury, VT --- The Worcester State men's golf team shaved 21 strokes off their total from yesterday's opening round to place 24th at the Middlebury Duke Nelson Invitational this afternoon at the par 72 Ralph Mayhre golf course. The Lancers were paced by sophomore Zach Mahan who placed tied for 105th with a two-day score of 174 (+30).

Middlebury, VT --- The Worcester State men's golf team shaved 21 strokes off their total from yesterday's opening round to place 24th at the Middlebury Duke Nelson Invitational this afternoon at the par 72 Ralph Mayhre golf course. The Lancers were paced by sophomore Zach Mahan (Leicester, MA) who placed tied for 105th with a two-day score of 174 (+30).

Other finishes for Worcester State included second-year James Letourneau (Seekonk, MA) who placed 114th (184, +40), junior Ryan Lavoie (Rehoboth, MA) who fired a 117th (207) and freshman Joe Oram's (Mansfield, MA) card of 118 (222).

Next week the Blue and Gold will compete at the Williams Invitational which will be held at Taconic Country Club.
