Hershey, PA --- Junior captain Bob Bruso has been named a PING Division III Third-Team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Bruso is the first Worcester State student-athlete to receive the award WSC Hall of Famers Scott Fairbanks and Jim Bombard were honored in 1984.

The Lancers ended the two-day tournament with a team score of 682 which was 56 strokes off of Elms who won the event held at the par 72 Allendale Country Club.

Brewster, MA --- Junior captain Bob Bruso finished in 17th and fourth overall in Division III New Engalnd as he carded a two-day total of 148 to help lead the Worcester State mens golf team at the NEIGA Championships at Captains Golf Course. Bruso was second overall with a score of 148 (+4) on the first day with a 69 (-3) before he fired a 79 (+7) on the second day of competition.
