Worcester State men's basketball put together an all-around dominant performance on Sunday afternoon afternoon, cruising to an 87–52 victory over Brooklyn College in the Lafrance Hospitality Tournament hosted by UMass Dartmouth. The Lancers jumped out early with relentless tempo with their offense firing on all cylinders from the start, scoring 45 points in the first half while holding the Bulldogs to just 23. The Lancers and Bulldogs would trade baskets early before Worcester went on their offensive run just five minutes into the half to take a steady control of the action. The Lancers' fast-paced attack was fueled by 29 fast-break points and 40 points in the paint, showing efficiency both in transition and at the rim.
Junior Daniel Wondie (Seattle, WA) set the tone from deep, knocking down four three-pointers on his way to 12 points, while junior Ethan Daleba (Dorchester, MA) added 12 points, three assists, and three rebounds in a strong all-around effort off the bench. Sophomore Joe Okla (Worcester, MA) was efficient with 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting, including a highlight-reel dunk midway through the first half that energized the bench.
The Lancer bench was outstanding, combining for 52 points led by junior Kaelin Dossantos-Leal (Brockton, MA) with eight points and a block, and sophomore Jaydon Buckle (Windsor Locks, CT) chipping in five. Defensively, Worcester State controlled the glass with a 48–35 rebound advantage, paced by sophomore Camdyn Shoesmith (Bedford, MA) who grabbed seven boards and added four points.
The blue and gold showcased depth and unselfish play, racking up 19 assists and 13 steals while limiting turnovers. Worcester's pressure defense held Brooklyn to just 29% shooting from the field and forced 16 turnovers, turning many into transition buckets.

Worcester State (1-1, 0-0) jumps right back into action on Tuesday at 1pm when they head down to Rhode Island College.
