Worcester, MA- After a 1-1 week for the Worcester State Field Hockey team, first year Rihanna Morin (Burrilville, RI) was tabbed as this weeks MASCAC Rookie of the Week.

Morin netted three goals for six points in a 1-1 week for the Lancers. Scored a goal in the 3-2 setback to Framingham State. Found the back of the net twice in the 4-1 win over Salem State. On the season, Morin has recorded four goals for eight points of 12 shots on cage.

Worcester State is back in action tomorrow as they host Salem State at 7pm in the MASCAC Quarterfinals.
