Freitas Repeats as MASCAC Special Team Player of the Week

Worcester, MA- With an exciting win this past weekend over Mass. Maritime, the Worcester State Football team had sophomore Louie Freitas (Dartmouth, MA) named once again as the Special Teams Player of the Week.

Freitas made a 32-yard field goal and 2-for-2 on point after attempts in the Lancers’ 17-10 win over Mass. Maritime. Finished with 172 yards punting with an average of 34.4 and a long of 36 yards. Averaged 52 yards on four kickoffs.

Football wraps up their season this Saturday at noon as they host Framingham State in their senior day game.
