Bakaysa Named MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week

Worcester, MA- After a strong showing this past Saturday versus Dean College, junior MJ Bakaysa (Plainville, CT) was named the MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week after his first collegiate career start.

Bakaysa Recorded six touchdowns on 21-of-26 attempt (80.8 completion percentage) and 287 yards with a 249.6% efficiency rating in the Lancers’ 52-27 win over Dean. Averaged 11 yards per throw and threw touchdown passes of 20, 7, 25, 20, 33 and 25 yards in the win. Broke both school records for touchdowns in a game and completion percentage in a single contest.

Worcester State is back in action on Saturday when they host Anna Maria at 1pm.
